Today's free English lesson for Newbies who wish to be taken seriously:

The first person singular personal pronoun is written as "I" not "i".

The correct version of the following phrases is:

"would have" not "would of"
"could have" not "could of"
"may have" not "may of"
"might have" not "might of"
"should have" not "should of"
and so on...

No need to thank me. You're welcome. :)

I am "warming" to you,..... you supply the "Education" and I'll deal with the "Culture".

"Bageman and Dobbin"

Oh and by the way that spell checker you was on about, try using it

There are two "L"'s in normally

Were, Before judging other peoples spelling check yours.

I'm no king of English but before picking him up you should check your quote. I don't believe capital letters are used after comma's in the way you have. :p

I don't give a fcuk about my spelling or your's and I dont give advise on spell checking, I merely point out that when YOU give advise follow it as this is a naval thread and if shit can be thrown then you better learn to duck.
Having said that pucker your arse muscles a bit or you will end up **** retentive.

Or as the captain of the gun house said

CHEQUE CHEQUE CHEQUE hE WORKED IN A BANK BEFORE HE JOINED THE ANDREW

Not sure if your previous post was aimed at me or Roberts. If it was me then I don't know why. I was mearly (excuse spelling) stating to him about him having ago at someone else when he is as bad if not worse. I'm not sure if your post was insulting or not it's hard to tell

Not you, I think it was what we used to call a technical fault what we called Fcuk ups if we were being polite.

I cannot tell if it was insulting and I wrote it so who knows.

I was I believe having a chip at the original knob not you but I might have had a senior moment with technology. If so my humblest etc etc etc.

And again thanks for the info on badge.

Cuz I loves you Tiddlyoggy and I love old figgy duff
And I always say good morning to the chief,
Oh I wonder yes I wonder did the Joss man make a blunder,
When he made this draft chit out for me.

I would sing to tommo as well but that would make me promiscuous(spell checker used on that one)

Rumrat,
Am I then correct in assuming that you've been a barrack stanchion, and you've lived in Jago's mansions and you never, ever, ever go to sea?

I tried,.. oh I tried, but I got more sea time than the average dolphin,

In fact I spent more time on one wave than some of these lot now have spent in a ship.

I spent so much time "Foreign" they nearly revoked my British nationality
and I was paying council tax in Honky fid

And I still don't know what a cheverton or what ever is ?

If you are talking about more than one comma, you don't need the apostrophe before the s.

PS-A Cheverton is the big grey or white boat on the big davits. Often known as the skippers barge.

Fcuk me no wonder I did not know.
This is going to come as a pisser for any OD's out there but the latest boat when I took my ticket was the Huntress, skippers launch.
Only other boats were the cutter 32ft 32 cwt (hundred weight for the Kilo club)
And then the 27ft whaler (27cwt)
Jim lad was still an embryo long John's parrot was an egg and you could still smell rum fumes in most ships.
And what happened to those type 82's they were yapping about did they ever transpire. I know the 42's did I saw them down south.

The one and only 82 (Bristol) is now tied up alongside Whale Island as the cadets training ship. I'm guessing that Ramehead was in the same spot when you left the mob.

But I still love you tommo, and I don't give fcuk for full stops, or commas,
I still don't believe your King of England though, you can't work your ticket with that one its been done already.
But if you join my gang I'll let you be a pirate or a fireman if you want and we can have jelly.
