Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Bunch of *****. I had to turn off Xbox blackops 2 so my moronic teenage daughters could watch this crap.
    i repeat Bunch of *****.
  2. Never, ever watched it. Three games of rugby on tv was pure porn for me today
  3. You only got the one TV then?
  4. rylan-clark-crying-3.jpg

    Aww didums...
  5. Er indoors watches it! I on the other hand have been banned from the lounge when its on due to the number of sarcastic comments sent flying in the general direction of the TV. The good bit is I only have another 3 weeks of dire Saturday TV to go before the soddin progamme finishes ... At least Strictly (which is her other Saturday evening viewing must) has some decent tottie in revealing costumes to oggle.

What gets me is the amount of people who actually ring in to vote for these cretins ... Cowell must be laughing all the way to the bank! God only knows how much he gets from each phone call but I lay bets all the phone calls pays for the whole kit and caboodle!

  6. These types of programmes wind me up sooo much that one is invited to shut my trap whenever HerWhoWantsToBeObeyed decides to watch it and I'm in the lounge. I can just feel the brains pouring out of my ears as though my intelligence is being assaulted with a pickaxe.
I'm sorry, but I now hate Geordies purely for the voice over on Big Brother.
  7. I was going to add ... at least "Er Indoors" refuses to watch I'm a Celebrity!" which really is (IMHO) a waste of viwing bandwidth!
  8. You’re
having a laugh she watches all the yank ones as well, sodding sky. I have persuaded
her to sky + them so she can fast forward through all the crap (whole program
IMO) so the yank 2hr can be viewed in about 40 mins, speeds the pain along to
    something more interesting:(
  9. Strangely she doesn't like the Yank version. Works for me!
  10. Fortunately wifey and I concur on this subject and all reality or x factor type programmes are definitely on the "never ever watch" list. Same goes for any and all soaps...she does have her good points!
  11. You lucky barsteward
  12. There is one good prog on saturday night, The Killing on BBC 4, the first two series were brilliant and this one, sadly the last is cooking up well.
  13. I don't know how any of you can say this. It was the only science fiction thing I ever really liked and Gillian Anderson was sex on legs (for a ginger).

  14. I also have to revert to Netflix on iPad on Sunday night because of that utter shite that is 'i am a celebrity get me out of here', which in fact should be done under the trades description act. So I missed 'Secrets of Crinckley Hall', top scary stuff from James Herbert. Thank god for iplayer.
  15. I can't see what is wrong with all this shit tv, especially if 'ere in doors' watches it.

Just think of all the 'me' time your missing out on.

Mrs Waspie loves her soaps, and I love her for it. That's my Xbox time, waste a few Ruskies or Krauts, smash up as many cars as I want in Forza.

Nah, more shit tv or STV as I call it. (As long as I don't have to put up with the crap.)
  16. Waspie unfortunately my Xbox is connected to the same tele as my sky hd, so unless I invest in another 40 inch tele and games room I'm buggered. You are a lucky man.
  17. The kids have left the building!! It's all mine.

    I don't own a TV, so no "X Factor", "I'm A Celebrity...", "Strictly..." or XBox/PS3, etc.

    Brilliant! :thumbleft:
  19. Should have got a proper job, you might have been able to afford one then ^_~
