I just passed my test for Warfare specialist on the 9th of Feb. Can anyone tell me when I should be due for Raleigh? If anyone has any good advice for what I should know during my interveiw about WS please pass it on. Thank's!

I'm going to take a swing in the dark and say verbal ability wasn't where you got the highest score.

Re: WS time to entry

I have some postcards from the 1920s and beyond of inmates of the G Spot writing home to Mum. The most striking thing about them is that, although not grammatically perfect, their standard of written English is very impressive when compared to many contributions on RR. Infact their English was better than mine in my mid 20s!!! o_O Of course I have long harboured a suspicion that the inmates copied their letters home from a large blackboard in their messes........ A couple of them begin:

Dear Mum

I have just arrived at HMS.... and am enjoying my time here. My official rank here is Junior Seaman...

Your loving son...

Twins in different messes with different surnames communicating by telepathy perhaps?

An alternative explanation could be that mobile telephony was rather cumbersome in the days of yore!

That's me :thumright:

However, TS edited his post. It originally said "pasted my test"

Now, what was wrong with my sentence?

I bet we're all waiting with baited breath for the outcome of TIM's psychometric test today. Will he be gracing the RN with his charm and intellect. Watch this space.

That's it then, you're in.

No doubt we will be kept abreast of every stage of the recruiting process. You're through the first hoop. Interview, eye test, medical, pjft, security clearance all to come.

I'll just stop mentioning it if it's what you'd prefer. Is it?
