If Boris was attending a Remembrance Service in an official capacity, then I have no problem with him making an official claim (just like the other MP who claimed for three wreaths in a single day). However, he has said that the claim was made in error. He must have laid many more wreaths in his time and this appears to have been an isolated incident so I tend to believe him. If he had claimed for a poppy, then that would be a different matter altogether.
  2. £16.50 for a wreath? Was he trying to keep it low key..
  3. It's the going rate for a standard wreath according to these RBL examples: Poppy Wreaths (Derbyshire Only)
