  11. ... Foiled !

.. In all seriousness though if selected for BRNC I won't be posting about it on here till long after training - don't wanna be playing with fire with a reputation worse than the ratio at The Cocked Hat.

My 27 years of service allow and equip me to offer boring generic replies to gobby sprogs and wannabes.
  14. WO2. Charge CHIEF. Same bollox really.

  15. Quick question... why don't Navy personnel ( CPO's? ) like being called chief? I'd much rather be a chief than a sir ! Though in all honesty above all I would rather be a Cowboy.

  16. Chief's do like being called Chief, WO2's don't like being called Chief.

Why are you making that assumption due to one post?

    Errr, I didn't know that they didn't.
  18. I remember reading a few comments on here about being called chief, will try dig them up later though probably misinterpreted them.
  19. If you call a MAA Chief they tend to get a bit sniffly and mention they don't like being called it, try it if/when you get in

  20. There was a foomale one on HMS Liverpool, that had a bit of a sense of humour failure about it, if IIRC it was the 5th "morning chief" that she lost it on. Sometimes it's just fun to play the duty bone Bootneck.
