Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Monday 9th May BBC1 2100

The behind-the-scenes story of the town of Wootton Bassett, whose tributes to fallen soldiers have earned the community the first royal title awarded in over 100 years.

  2. We might complain about the BBC at times, but they got this one right.
It was humble and respectfull and very very sad.

Well done and god bless the people of [Royal] Wootton Bassett.
  3. :withstupid:Hear hear !
  4. The townspeople of Wootton Bassett have been brilliant in their recognition of the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women. From September this year their services will be terminated by the move to RAF Brize Norton.I hope the people of Carterton the village outside the main gate of Brize can organise something simple and moving such as we have witnessed at Wootton.
  5. Didn't HMG try to change route to avoid Wooten recently? you know for the sake of politics. *****
  6. As Percy P has had more of his cloth than us in dark blue/lovat green to travel through that town perhaps RR contributors may care to discover the Arrse views on this issue?
