  1. I have just been listening to an interesting item on Woman's Hour (yes, yes, I know.... ) on women & banter in the Forces. I thought that this might be of interest. It should be available later in a podcast, for you iPoddies.

  2. Must be a slow news week...

Old news from July 3rd, just another excuse for Thingy to feed his obsession with polls

Better suited to the Gash Barge
  4. Old news? Bloody hell, I must be suffering from juvenile dementia!
  5. A Service womann should not suffer any more or less banter than their male counterparts
    The bottom line is this...

"If you cant take a joke ....etc"
  6. A few moons ago on a certain SAR NAS at Portland, my Greenie chief, a big nasty bugger from Wales, was told to report to the AEO for a bollocking for using "bad" language in the hangar when Jennies were around.

Well he walks back in and shouts, "Lads, weve got to keep the language down as theres c**t in the hangar" !
  7. Strange question really considering how long women have been serving on ships, surely all these niggling little hiccups were sorted out long ago and when onboard you are now all serving in a lovely, cuddly, pink and fluffy utopia.
  8. Im sure the serving women direct equal amounts of banter towards us!
  9. And very ladylike they are to be sure!
