I recall watching an interview of two politicians. One was advocating how great wind turbines are etc. The second politician then politely pointed out the other politicians financial interest in a company that made them.
Great put down.
I read an article not so long ago about a Photovoltaic farm (Solar Panel farm or whatever they are called) that was charging the batteries with off peak electricity and selling it back at peak rates during the day. They got rumbled hence the article, think it was out here, maybe China. If it was they will be dead by now.
Maybe more power stations like Dinorwig are needed First Hydro Company Dinorwig Power Station Store all that excess energy until needed.
I still think nuclear is the way forward for the next ten years, until green energy becomes more efficient.
