Why So Many Questions

I'm intrigued as to why so many Newbies, myself included, feel the need to ask so many questions on RR.

Is it because a lot of the informaiton that comes out of AFCO is believed to be bollocks and people don't believe all the sales hype any more?

Is it because the info/literature they provide no longer meets the needs of the modern recruit?

Is it because of a fear of the unknown?

For me it's because I feel like a mushroom - kept in the dark and fed on sh!t - it really does feel like hurry up and wait syndrome. Also I don't believe a lot of the hype and would rather get the untainted, honest truth from the horses mouth.

Interested in any other views...

what you get told down the careers office is all true mate, you get to do shite loads of windsurfing, scuba diving and adventure training stuff, dont listen to anyone else, its the truth, honest...

Every recruitmnet video I have seen has a load of lads white water rafting ,I dont know anyone in my 16 years service that has ever been .

5 years after branch changing from wafu, I still want to know one thing.

When exactly am I going to qualify as a glider pilot in order to fully understand the basics of flight and thus have a greater grasp of knowledge in part 3 and part 4 training as I was informed in the wafu recruiting video???

I agree with you mate, the stuff on the official site is good but I think it's important to get some real life accounts and advice before making a choice like joining the forces, and this place seems to be the best for all that!

I have asked lots and lots of questions because, like many, i am insecure about my ability to make it through selection and want to get as much info as possible (from the people who know the most) about the RN- and in doing so safeguard the best chance of being selected by being informed about all those matter RN.

thank you all for being so helpful, even though most people think i am a pain in the ass...

As Confucious say "There are more questions than answers..... Unless you buy Premium package."
