why do I feel so glum?

hi all
i passed my PJFT on saturday, did in 13 mins 38 secs not a brillaint time but at least its a pass. but since i have just been down in the dumps, i though that i would be happy, I've done all the paperwork and now its a sit and wait game. can anybody shed any light?

Hey congrats ship_rat well done on passing the PJFT.

I suppose it's the anticipation of the test and concentrating on passing, your just feeling a bit of an anticlimax I would imagine.

Couldn't say how long the rest will take but good luck andf again congrats mate.

Doesn't your first line sum it up "... not a brillaint time but at least its a pass" ?

Sounds like you're p!ssed off at yourself for not achieving a better time.

Who cares, at least you passed - means you can improve when you join, which is what they will expect anyway.

Also, you have to play another waiting game for the next part of the process to kick in and for you to know what is happening.

Playing a waiting game is always sh!te - get used to it - there's probably a lot more of that to come in your career.

thanx for cheering me up! i need that.
going out on the p*ss doen't sound like a bad idea, as long as i am sober for work the nxt day. one of the things i am looking forward to when i join! (no more 2 hr jouneys home, just fall into my pit space.) as you say its a waitting game now , with plenty of time to improve my run time.

Got to be the anticlimax. You feel over the moon for 20 minutes, then come crashing down when you realise that the next milestone is ages away. It will get better!
