Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

  1. The song most often heard on the Radio/ gramophone?

Mine was Jimmy Nails' "Shes lying" song

That was UK number one single
    July 12, 1992 for 3 weeks.

I remember T'pau greatest hits CHINA IN YOUR HAND - 14/11/1987
    5 weeks at #1 - 15 weeks on chart

China in your hand for me too. Always on the video jukebox in the NAAFI.

I went to see Bryan Adams in 1987 with T'PAU supporting. I was stood right in the front fow looking up at Carole Decker's skimpy white nickers all night !

    Good song, totally agree

    Going Underground - The Jam.

Wasn't in the charts at the time (88/89) but was popular on the video jukebox thingy.

Lennon: Woman was No1 at the time for me, but "Sloop John B" was forever on the jukebox, probably still is.

(Not sure a thread about Raleigh is well placed in RMR, but I can't move it I'm afraid, pehaps some Big boy would be so kind....)
