Can't remember but I do remember the sounds of Bangles "Walk like an Egyptian", Europe "The Final Countdown" and Status Quo "You're in the Army Now" blaring out in the automat during basic. Takes me right back there every time I hear one of them.

I think it was either Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares to You, or
Cher - Can remember the song, but she was nekkid on a Septic Warship, give one of the big Bang Bangs a bang!! Great Video!! Woo-hooo

Also seen in the Automat, 'cos I was a baby and couldn't get into the real NAAFI.

Just found this out, does anybody know what this song is all about???
I might be wrong, but, isn't about her mother dying? I think she died before the video so the tears Sinead sheds are real. Might be a gen dit, or something that I've picked up and corrupted in my wee brain for the last 15 years.

I am, of course, open to correction.
