I was working in South Alabama in US and saw this old sub. Was wondering if anyone knew what it was or had a link to info about it

It shouldn’t be, it’s just from my iPhone.

All the navy subs I saw looked nothing like this.

I'm thinking it could be a Narco mini sub, I was a WAFU (Wonderful And Fully Underestimated) but this was very topical a few years ago, I'm sure a sun dodger will put me right

Google Narco mini sub, apart from GCHQ starting to track your search history some interesting pictures pop up.

But those don’t seem to look anything like mine. This has a very odd shape to it.
Those Narco subs have a middle shape to them.
Unless you’re saying some other Narco subs look like mine
It does look as though it would have been a research sub as opposed to stealth or speed

The reason I'm thinking research boat is it looks like 3 pressure tight windows in the photo.

I think you’re the closest so far
Gave me something to look up.
But it’s amazing I still can’t find this sub anywhere
The Bathyscaphe Trieste sorta resembles it.
Closest yet.

I can't help thinking it looks like a film prop, such as you might have seen in something like an Indiana Jones movie.
