Hi all, I recently had my Careers Discussion call and have been recommended for AIB and I'm trying to do as much research and prep that I can for my interview. One question stumped me somewhat and it was "what would your average day as a warfare officer on a submarine be like?"
Now I know what the role of a warfare officer (submarines) entails as well as a civvy can I think, taking charge of sonar and Comms equipment in order to provide the boats eyes and ears, working closely with the rest of the warfare department, navigation and passing on tactical information to the CO etc etc. But I found it really hard to articulate an appropriate answer to this question. I was wondering if there are any warfare officers, or anyone else, who can shed some light on what your average working day is like at sea? And any other handy AIB advice
Thanks
