You are quite right.

Some trades serve more often at sea than others however all those currently joining the Navy can expect to serve at sea.

Those joining who do not wish to serve at sea are better off joining the more junior services.

The Army & RAF are less likely to serve at sea than the Royal Navy, however it cannot be ruled out as there are some (not many) RAF & Army personnel serving afloat.

Those not wishing to serve at sea are statistically more likely to find job satisfaction & enjoy the Army or RAF more than the Navy.
