what branch?

  1. as a probationary reservist of 6months im starting to ponder on wich branch would suit me best ,so far it seems sea res is the one,how ever news that the reserves are now having an engineering branch is interesting as im a welder fabricator by trade,any opinions.Another question is does the Royal navystill have blacksmiths?
  2. Looking at your screen name I sense the irony ;) but in answer to your question...no, not as a standalone branch.

  5. sorry ,should have read "a farrier" i know the army still have blacksmiths i believe the work is purely ceremonial
