What aircraft are based at what bases?

  2. I think it's Merlin and Search and Rescue Sea King at RNAS Culdrose.
    Lynx and Seaking at RNAS Yeovilton (Definitely the Mark 4 Junglie Seaking)
    And up until recently the ill fated Harrier was at RAF Wittering.

    I'm sure a WAFU will be along soon to correct me.

    750 Sqn : Jetstream T2 for observer training, shortly to change to the Beech200 King Air.
    771 Sqn : Sea King Mk5's Search and Rescue/Maritime Counter Terrorism
    814/820 Sqn : Front line Merlins.
    824 Sqn : Merlin training.
    829 Sqn : Small ship's Merlin flights, Type23 frigates only at the moment.
    849/854/857 Sqn : Sea King Mk7 ASaCS/AEW

    702 Sqn : Lynx training (Mk3 & Mk8).
    727 Sqn : Grob trainersm basic flight training.
    815 Sqn : Small ship's Lynx flights.
    845/846 Sqn : Sea King Mk4 'Junglies', Commando Helicopter Force.
    847 Sqn : Lynx Mk7, Commando Helicopter Force.
    848 Sqn : Sea King Mk4 training.

    700W Sqn : Lynx wildcat fielding squadron, currently without aircraft.

    RNAS Prestwick:
    771 Sqn : Search and Rescue

Wessex, Sea King, Wasps at Osprey. Gannets and Sea Kings at Prestwick. Hunters,Wessexs, Heron, Dove, Sea Prince at Daedalus. Think thats about it!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

  14. As an AET you can choose; Lynx, Merlin, Sea King mk4 (yeo) & Sea King mk7. Eventually Sea King mk4, will be replaced by Merlin mk3's.

  17. Pretty much, the odd few choose SK mk4.
    AETs in USA getting trained on JSFs but we won't get to see them till they're in (2018ish)
