Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Today's £198m contract will ensure that the Harrier jump-jets continue to demonstrate their power and versatility in support of ground forces in Afghanistan or flying from our aircraft carriers. The Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine gives the Harrier its unique Short Takeoff and Vertical Landing capability.

That would reinforce another buzz I've heard, best not burn my dessies yet then.... Arse.
  2. Wondered where the cabs were comming from   At the 2 flynavy 100 displays at London and Liverpool from the Carrier visits
  3. Surely 10 years just takes us up to 2019, the date I would expect the two new carriers to be operational, given the production slowdown.
  4. Dear old Andygrayland..............Beautiful dreamer.......................
