Weight/Medical

Stephielou92

Hi,

I've got my medical on 22nd April and just wondering if I need to have my BMI below 28 by then?

Currently at 28.9 (used to be 48), I've got time to get it down and I'm trying to get it as low as possible before then but just wondered if it did have to be below 28 by the time I go for the medical?

Thank you!
Steph

Well done so far, excellent stuff.

Yep BMI ideally needs to be 18-25, but it can be as much as 28 (or slightly more) if your waist measurement around your belly (sorry no polite way of wording it) is under 80 cms for females.

If that's you on your avatar Stephielou, well done and Hellooooo ;)
Calm down your old enough to be her Granddad:D

Well done young lady, fantastic effort.

I have managed to drop my BMI from 58 down to 47, I need to get mine to less than 40 so I know how difficult it is to lose weight:(

Right, and don't listen to Sumo, he's just jealous of the lady, mainly because he still can't see what shoes he's wearing ;)
I have Mirror under my desk, I am wearing my black work shoes, I also know this as they are a crap fit and I can see my own shoes under my desk? I note from Ninja's post is a waist of 80 I can get inside that:)

That is centimetres not inches. Keep wishing!

What's the waist measurement requirement for males? I've been told it's less than 93/94cm can't remember sorry. Any help would be much appreciated
