My bride being from Northampton, UK, is a brilliant example of a woman and I couldn't be happier.

    Wish me luck mates. :thumright:
  2. Can one ask why? (Although being based in Singapore may have given me a biased view)!

Seriously though let McC show his kind, sharing, compasionate and caring side and try and be the first to congratulate you.

I take it you are happy being an ex-pat now?

  3. I'm American, soon she will be an ex-pat. Our families came from the same area of London. We met on a web site for penpals, and just seemed to click.

Leatherneck, you've beaten me by a short head, I was about to write

Report position, depth and speed at midnight

Congrats to you both, hope things work out.
  19. Well, the missus is back in Northampton selling her house. A piece of wisdom says that people don't move to Northampton they move away from Northampton.

She confirmed that statement! Have some new wprds added to my vocabulary now just need to work on the accent. Just doesn't have the same tone coming from a yank.

Congratulations on tying the knot - may you both have a long and happy marriage.

My missus was born in Northampton and then spent most of her life in Corby just up the road - if you think Northampton is a place to move away from, Corby is worse! She moved out of Corby when she married me - tomorrow I'm celebrating 21 years of marriage (D-Day!) while my better half is celebrating 21 years of having moved from Corby :)
