Just wondering as a weapons engineer do you get a choice of what ship you are on?
Also I'm nearly 25 would anyone say that's to old? What is the current waiting time?

There will be no harm in asking for a specific ship as long as it requires your particular branch and rating but the RN will send you where the need is greatest if there is a shortage.
No,25 is not too old.

Not at all; there will be recruits in their thirties in your class.

It would be a good idea to make an initial enquiry via the website. This will allow the people who check your eligibility etc to get in touch with you and you can then start the ball rolling.

Have a look at some sample questions from the Recruiting Test, by the way - see how you get on. You will have to do this as part of your application.

Start thinking about fitness, too. You will need to pass a fitness test to join.
