Warfare Specialist Surface or Submarine?

Hi everyone. Apologies if this has already be mentioned somewhere but I’m keen on joining the Submarine Service with Warfare specialist looking my Favourite option. Could anyone shed any light on this role like what class of submarine is be on or how often I’d get deployed ? And would you recommend me as a 16 year old joining the submarines. Thanks everyone

I’m not a sun dodger, if you look on some of the SM threads recently they cover patrol lengths. Is the search box on the top right of the webpage.

If you are after GS warfare spec stuff, fire me some questions as that’s more my bag.

I guess it’s down to how many runs ashore you want vs how much spends you want as a submariner.

As warfare you can be on either SSN or SSBN, your nailed to either class and are fully interchangeable between the two.

Bombers (SSBN) do 3 month patrol cycles (can be longer) with 2 crews, SSN's (Hunter Killers) can be away anywhere from 6 days to 6 months, it depends on what the tasking is and whats going on in the world.
