  1. Hi all,

Apologies if this is mentioned on other threads elsewhere - this is my first post! I recently passed my RT and have my eye test booked for later this week. I initially applied for a Training Management Officer, but have decided instead to apply as, a Rating, for either a Warfare Specialist Sensors or Tactical (both Submarine).

From seeing articles online, it sounds like joining times for Subs are shorter than those roles which involve working on Surface Fleet etc. Any info and advice on the timescales for the remaining stages of the Recruitment process would be greatly appreciated.

Also anyone who currently is, or has been, a Warfare Specialist on a Sub, it would be good to hear some additional insight - I've seen the videos on the RN website, but it's always good to hear more than one opinion!
