Warfare Officer (submariner), post-BRNC training pipeline

#1
Hi all,

I have my SIFT coming up, so making sure I know as much as possible about my chosen branch (Warfare-Submariner)

The one area I am struggling to find much information about, is what happens after BRNC? The Royal Navy website simply states:
After your basic training, you’ll gain more sea experience, while you work towards your Navigational Watch Certificate as an Officer of the Watch. You’ll then spend four months in the Submarine School at HMS Raleigh
Before I get attacked for not using the search function or google, I have, however the information is all quite a few years old now.

The most detailed explanation is the one on the following thread (2011), however as I know the BRNC part is no longer correct, I am not sure whether I should trust the rest..

I presume we would follow the same path as Surface Warfare Officers for a while, but at which point to we split off to HMS Raleigh?

Thanks in advance!
