  1. Hi,

I was just wondering if there's someone who can give me a rough idea of the jobs with the shortest waiting list. I want to apply for the navy but the jobs that appeal to me most have 1-2 years waiting lists.

  2. But the you dont't want to rush into a job just because of the waiting time as you are not able to change when you join. You must think carefully before rushing as you dont want to join to find that you wish you waited to do somthing you are intersted in.

Have you started selection process yet look at the pro's and con's.

  3. Seamen Spec is i think at least 9-10 months wait

    Spot on.

Choose a job you want to do or you'll regret it greatly, many don't realise how diverse the jobs can be despite the fact the uniform is the same.

Consider WHY a job has a short waiting time first of all, then consider whether it's a job you want to do. As stated, you cannot change your mind after you join.

  5. Submariners have shorter waiting lists at the moment, have a think whether you'd want to do your preferred trade underwater.
