  1. Hi

Just wanting a bit of advice please I have been on waiting list for airman since feb 2014 anyone know how much longer I could be waiting?
    Thanks.

  2. Wouldn't you need to re-do your PJFT as its valid for just a year?

    Airman?

Do you mean Naval Airman Aircraft Handler? Currently a two year wait.

SE is currently about 18 months.

    ACMN is under 12 months

You have indicated that you are going to be a Belly Button cleaner, its Naval not Navel!

  10. Good evening everyone,

I am on the waiting list for the Royal Navy and my security checks are in process, however I am working in a job at the moment but have been offered a better job that suits my needs before I join the RN.

If I change my job in civvi street whilst on the waiting list and whilst my security checks are processing would I need to inform anyone about this ?

  11. Answered on the other thread you asked this on.

  12. Sorry for posting another thread about Aircraft handler, but I couldn't seem to find an up to date one! I had my psychometric test last week and passed, they told me it was 11 months from that day.

All in all, reading previous posts about the waiting time for the chosen role, it doesn't seem to bad. But is it common for the 11 months to turn in to 18 and son on? I have my interview on Thursday, I will ask then but just keen to find out. Thanks

  13. Waiting times are affected by numerous factors meaning predicting them is very tricky. By all means ask at your interview but don't expect the reply to be 100% accurate.

  14. Ok thanks for the reply, just want to get to Raleigh and be in already
