    My client based in Aylesbury has an immediate requirement for a LGV Workshop Technician to join their team. Reporting to the Workshop Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, repair and maintenance of a fleet of emergency vehicles, plant, equipment and support vehicles.

    Candidates with a mechanical background, having worked with LGV/Heavy vehicles are encouraged to apply. Although not essential, could be well suited for a person who has previously served in the Army (REME Vehicle Mechanic) or RAF/Royal Air Force (MT).

    • The successful candidate will hold a relevant engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Motor Vehicle Studies etc. up to Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ.
    • It is essential you hold a Class C licence.
    • Demonstrable experience within a similar position repairing light and heavy vehicles.
    • Able to work on own initiative and provide an excellent service under pressure.
    • Strong fault finding skills.
