About the role
Part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll maintain and repair a range of military vehicles and equipment. It’s a key job that will involve providing general assistance for project engineers, as well as preparing equipment for trials. As you’ll be visiting sites around the UK, you’ll need to be willing to work away from home occasionally.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant automotive engineering qualification, such as BTEC, C&G, NVQ or a diploma at level 3 or 4. It is also essential that you have good bench fitting, design and manufacture skills, plus experience of repairing and maintaining tracked vehicles, HGVs and automotive sub-systems that include diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electromechanical systems.
