University Cadet Entry

Hi all!

Im new to this so hope im doing it right.

Im doing my A-levels atm and tried last year for a sixth form scholarship with the hope to then applying for UCE before goin to uni but I failed the AIB.

Ive just gone back to my ACLO to get my application back on track but he said they dont offer the UCE anymore!?! Just wondering if this has come into immediate effect or if I was planning on joining BRNC in Sep 2010 its still going?

There may be no university cadetships, but there are university bursaries:

Yep, UCE's are only available for Doctors & Dentists entering year 3 of their 5 year degree.

To be honest, it should've been taken off the website over a year ago, but it wasn't announced officialy until June this year after lots of promting....

Pilot 2 bursaries, 4 Lower 6th, 1 Upper 6th
Observer 1 bursary
Warfare 4 bursaries, 1 Reserved Place, 3 Lower 6th, 1 Upper 6th
Warfare Submariners 2 bursaries
Engineer 11 bursaries, 2 Reserved Place, 5 Lower 6th, 2 Upper 6th
Logistics 1 Lower Sixth
Royal Marine 2 bursaries, 2 Reserved Place, 2 Lower 6th, 1 Upper 6th
Defence Technical Undergraduate places 31
