Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Just seen the new accommodation areas.

    Looks great!

Will fall apart in 3 Months

I hope there is a big repair budget!!
  2. I think you'll find that there isn't a big "anything" budget!

Do the T45's not use modular furniture then?
  3. G-plan?? :thumright:
  4. Ahh, all these years I though that was a diet, no wonder I look like a Buddha!
  5. MFI polyurethane vacuum molded, ergonomically designed to give great comfort to all.

Problem is that as MFI have not been involved in warship design before, it burns like buggery and gives off a toxic gas. Solved all crew members will have their own Breathing Apparatus. Officers will all get a personal Steward i.e. ABLOGSBAC to carry it for them.

  6. Tons of room on those ships. All of the watchkeepers seating looks fairly comfy and the mess/WR seats look a little...erm... officey but should be okay, I imagine. Probably better [on the eyes/mind] than the old floral pattern stuff which adorns the 42 that I once went on.
As for if it'll be wrecked within 3 months...that's up to Jack.
  7. Are we talking Louis XV with cabriolet legs?
  8. Ive got an old Chesterfield Armchair Im willing to donate if it saves a bit on the Defence Budget
