The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. While doing some family research in my local library in Gravesend I came across these pictures of the wreck of the Cornwall at Gravesend after being bombed by the Luftwaffe in the 2WW. Such a sad end to a ship that had an important and active part to play in what looks like some historic memorable actions. The attached wikpedia link gives some excellent detail.

    Apparently Lord Haw Haw announced that the Luftwaffe had sunk an important Battleship
