Well time is short for sure. I'll be 39 in May... I have applied as a last chance saloon so I at least I do not regret applying myself to my lifelong wish to serve in the the Royal Navy.
Age is not a problem for me. My appearance is years below my age, my mindset where it needs to be and my fitness tip top (Recovery times excluded).
It's occured to me that the application process is going to take a lot longer than we all can anticipate. First off, would I need to be accepted by my 39th birthday? Or is it until the day before my 40th? That would clarify exactly in my mind what my current expectations are.
I've followed threads in regards to age so no need to have it distract me from applying. Age is only an issue if you make it one, that's not the route I want this thread to go.
An insight to where human resources are needed at the moment my help me fast track where I can direct my application route before an AFCO contacts me would be useful.
To be honest any advice concerning the above would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
