  1. Hi all,

just a quick question about traveling in todays navy.

I heard, not so long ago there was plenty of traveling in the navy, but with the current economic crisis affecting all the armed forces budgets and the iraq and afghanistan situation, is there still a fair amount of travel in the navy, or has it been cut back?

    Thanks.

  2. For fuck sake.

  3. Try Cunard, they seem to visit foreign shores. If you wish something more inshore, Viking Cruises are very good too.

  4. For close inshore ops try Costa Cruises.

(this thread is a wind up isn't it??)

  5. There's still plenty of travelling in the Navy, in fact possibly more than there was a few years ago.

Unfortunately, there's a bit less stopping in places!!!

  6. Still loads of travel, in tillies, buses, coaches, trucks, and occasionally planes and ships.

Sometimes if you use your own bike/car you may get paid for it.
