  1. Hi all,

    Apologies if this has been answered.

    Just a quick question on commuting from a Naval base to your home when not on duty. In my case I live in the north of Scotland and would on occasion drive from a base back home. Does the navy contribute a certain amount per mile for me to get home that would be claimed on JPA?

    I understand I will get travel warrants on occasion through training but after that is there any additional entitlement.

    Not a biggy if they don't. Just interested!

  2. You get (or used to, it may have changed) Home to Duties but that was for married people who lived locally (within 50 miles IIRC) and commuted to work every day.

    It had to be from your home address, it didn't apply to occasional travel, so you wouldn't be entitled.
