Travel expenses

My brother, who joined 12 years ago, got help with travel expenses home during the first 4 years. He got £400 a year to help cover the costs of flights home as we live overseas. He said the navy help new sailors keep in contact with their families. Does anyone know if this help still exists? I’ve look d online but can’t find anything relating to travel warrants home in P2 and beyond. I’ve found all the stuff for P1.
TIA

There's an entitlement called 'Get You Home (Early Years) that is designed to provide assistance to young service personnel with travelling home. For those that live overseas there's 'Get You Home (Early Years)(Overseas Allowance) which is capped at £400.

Beyond that I can't tell you much more, I'm not a Writer and you can read the JSP as well as I can. I do know though that the allowance is only paid during Phase 1 training or until age 18, whichever is the later.
