Training Pipeline for Warfare Officers during/after BRNC

Discussion in 'Joining Up - Royal Navy Recruiting' started by Schmee_Force, Jan 7, 2009.

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. 4 phases at BRNC

    1 - Militarisation Phase
    2 - Pre-IST/IST
    3 - Academic Phases
    4 - Passing Out

I understand this bit, but could someone please fill in the pipeline after BRNC including each step. Many thanks
  2. Stand-by for scorn, read the RN website and the stickies in here (in detail) and then come back and ask directed, pertinent questions.

Not being overly critical, but to be honest, if you want to be an officer you need a certain get-up and go.....
  3. Sorry maybe the title is a bit misleading.
Yes I have done, but the LtCd who I had my Sift Interview said that this information is avaliable freely on the RN website and published literature.
I know about CFT being 4 months and learning different roles also the Navigation Course at Collingwood, SFT (6months), JWOC and Navigational Watch Certificate and Bridge Warfare Qualification
He asked me in my interview, what sort of jobs would the WO be undertaking after completing these courses.
That is the information I am hoping to seek out
