Training for Government Ministers?

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Who can name one job or profession that doesn't require some form of training? The Daily Telegraph has come up with one. It's called 'Running the Country'. The Better Government Initiative is calling for ministers to undertake training courses. Mind you, this is the same Government that abolished student grants and ended tax relief for vocational training course fees, etc., despite its clarion calls for 'education, education, education' and 'life-long learning'.
  2. Why do they need training? Why do we need pollies? Civil servants do the work, MPs get the pay, Ministers get the credit when things work, and shift the blame to junior officials when their policies go awry... such as data incontinence...
  3. How about entrepreneur.

    Or journalism.
  4. Stoker...RN..? :thumright:
  5. Hookers and Politicians. But they do get more proficient at screwing with practice. :farao:

  6. ...bitch :rendeer: :rendeer: :thumright:
