Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

    Let's see.... Miner (Mynah) birds... nope, nowhere appropriate left; Weaver birds.... nope, no textile industry left; Kingfisher.... nope, no fishing fleets left!

    We could, however, have:
    the Northern Gannet for Hull, home of John Prescott;
    the Dipper for the constituency of Alastair Darling;
    the Common Loon for the consituency of Gordon Broon;
    the Coal Tit for Barnsley, the birth place of Arthur Scargill;
    the Harrier for Yeovil .... better make that Stamford;
    and finally we have the Brown Booby for Streatham, the birthplace of Naomi Campbell.
