The 1 Lt's daughter at BRNC...

(A long long long looooooooooooooooong time ago)
  3. When I was a young Greenie on the Herald, I was using a screwdriver to hold a contactor on in the galley so the killick could check something and got hypnotised by the thought of touching the end of the screwdriver. So I did. 220VDC. I haven't done anything like THAT again :D
  4. I also remember a barracks in Malta, either St Andrews or Hal Far where you could stop a ceiling fan with your head.
  5. Terror Naval Base was like that too - painful, even after a tankful of Tiger...!!

  6. Make you jump did it?

When was you on the Herald?

    I was on 80-82.
  7. 89-92, a while after you mate :)

Oh, and YES it made me jump!! :D

I remember being on a high for the rest of the day though :D
  13. So it was d.c. Lamri.

Left you with an aversion to pooftahs eh! :)

At least it ensured that you are a.c. only now.
  14. I had to find something else to stick my fingers into after that!

  20. I read that as contractor? Why was he holding a contractor by a screwdriver?

    Anyway ...
