People that don't get their priorities right.
Woman on Midlands ITV this morning, (we can get both Midlands and Welsh here) bleating that she has four school age kids that are fighting over one laptop as she can't afford to buy another one.
This family live about 200 yards from me in a house owned by a friend of mine.
They pay £820 a month rent, have an almost new car on lease, had a hot tub on rental all last summer and over Christmas had the whole property lit up like a fecking fairground. But they can't afford another laptop? If she reigned in their lifestyle a bit she could afford another two. The one I'm using now is a refurbished HP elitebook bought off ebay for 130 quid, brilliant piece of kit and as good as she would ever need for her kids to use for school work. Folk like her need to look at their lifesyles. If they think the kids' education is that impotant, bin all the fripperies and use their money more wisely instead of whingeing on the telly.

I seen that. Even Mrs AC said ‘Tough shit’.

It’s so much easier for them to spend like crazy and then complain the government isn’t doing enough so they get them free off the state. And the bloody media will happily cooperate with as it helps their government bashing.

Must admit while Prince Phillip is in hospital the timing of these 2 fu**wits is shocking.... it might be sad that Harry’s mum died whilst he was young but he was born into privilege and hasn’t had to worry about money etc.... so any sympathy I ever felt for him has gone, him and his attention seeking missus can get fuc*ed... Harry has forfeited any respect he could command as an officer or a royal and he should be stripped of his ‘Dukedom’...... he’s made his choices and I hope he doesn’t resurface here when the gold digger inevitably dumps him....

Can't see this ending well at all - he's wrapped around her little finger - but the really sad bit is they could
have made a big impact here if they had stuck it out - could have been a major influence for the better for loads of people - especially kids - but I guess being super priviledged just doesn't cut it for a sceptic when Netflix and Oprah et al will pay you waaaay more cash - irony is that most yanks don't know who he is and could care even less

Keir Starmer will have her in one of his political broadcasts by now :(

Quite. In my limited experience Royal interviews to a journalist like this always go down like a poop floating in the bilge during Captains Rounds:
Ferguson and Oprah
Diana and Bashir
Charles and Dimbles
Andrew and Emily M

HM’s motto never complain seems to be ignored completely- no one will ever feel sorry for someone with that much privilege.

“The first duty of an officer is to remain cheerful in adversity, not drip like a septic tank” (RADM Kerr).
