  4. The Spanish Flu death toll has never been firmly established. Due to cover-ups to preserve morale etc the true numbers were never revealed and some estimates reckon it could have been upwards of 100, 000, 000. In this case WWI came second, even though it was the first....if you know what I mean.
     
  5. Looking at BNM's figures above, it would seem old Mr Mao has quite a bit to answer for. 49, 170, 000 is really a very BIG number.
