Any sightings of strange marine animals reported to the Navy by the public are passed on to the UK Hydrographic Office, which provides charts and other navigational services for mariners.

And I always thought the crushers got involved, do Droggies keep a catalogue of bootie run ashore rigs?

Wonder if any reports were made from Commenrcial Road or Unionsrasse in the 60s/70s ? There were certainly some "strange marine animals" around in them days. (And one or two in Faslane at the same time.)
