Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Please can anybody tell me what part was played by the merchant ship "Southern Cross" in the Brunei campaign in Dec 1962.

    Thank you for your help.
  2. Do you have any more detail on this pls?

There was a Southern Cross (Shaw Savill Line) at the time.
  3. That is the ship. I dont know what part she played just that some of her crew received the medal for Brunei so she must have been involved.

    Any help at all appreciated.
