The Old and Bold are revolting

At this Old age Pensioners' Home for Broken Worn-Out and Distressed ex-servicemen it was decided at a meeting last evening, that we would all present refuse to pay for BBC broadcasts licences when the current dispensation ceases in the Autumn.
There was some concern that the BBC would renege on its announcement that free licences would end. Please confirm that concessionary over 75 licences will end later this year.
We are jointly looking forward to a respite in prison as we have many bits of our bodies that require attention. Feet, Eyes and Hearing sprang to mind.
We realise that currently we are required to pay £7.50 a year 0n the ARC TV licence swindle as we are all eligible for free licences. We will miss the weekly Dads Army--well only some weeks as the BBC find some drivel to replace it with too frequently.

This recent request to Auntie Beeb awaits a reply in a months time.

The good news is that the BBC are currently having to suspend making any new drivel to replace Dad's Army in the forseeable future. If there are any other programme repeats you haven't already seen twice you may well get the opportunity between now and coronavirus end.
Try staying awake by telling each other old dits which you have forgotten you've already told a dozen times.

The BBC will soon have nobody to present anything anyway and no live shows, so it's time to put some big tapes on spools in readiness for the Great Lock-Down of 2020.
You can all sit back in your special chairs, suck your blended dinner up a paper straw and get stuck into:

That should cheer everybody up no end.
