Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I have it on good authority that this took place 3 weks ago when the troops ran out of ammo. The source said that the insurgents weren't expecting this and ran away.

    Is this true?

  2. I think you need to arrsk on Arrse for that one, dear girl.
  3. I think the fact that 'They don't like it up them' as we used to be told by an old greengrocer probably has a lot to do with the use of bayonets.
  4. 3 weeks ago?

More like 3 years wasn't it? A&SH breakout from an ambush as far as I remember. Look up "bayonet charge" on Arrse.
  5. Maxi please, he was a butcher! The ARP Warden was the grocer.
  6. Youre quite right, mea culpa., hangs head in shame.
  7. Stupid Boy Pike!!
