THE HAPPIEST DAY OF THE YEAR

Hurrah! It's the happiest day of the year

Jun 23 2006

A psychologist has discovered that today - Friday June 23 - is the happiest day of this year.

Cliff Arnall, a psychologist specialising in seasonal disorders, literally created a formula for finding happiness.

I knew there was something different about today???

Dear Cliff.

Go out and do something useful like litter picking or counting clouds!!

My front porch steps collapsed last night, with me on them.
I've spent the happiest day of the year, (and probably more to come), with my right knee and lower back busted to buggery.

Dr Cliff Arnall can kiss my heavily bruised a**.

Much better, thanks. Nothing serious, just enough to remind me I'm not 18 anymore. Currently soothing the aches and pains in the time-honored Marine Corps tradition of LOTS of beer, and cigarrettes.

Now that’s what I call a proper recovery routine! Might just have couple my self to help you along as well.

I'll have a few more beer's , I managed to get off the dreaded fag's just over 2 year's ago after having been on nearly 40 a day for year's , I have saved a fortune since , sorry nothing worse than an ex smoker , but I would'nt have this laptop if I was still on the weed , one of the best thing's I ever did , ok lecture over , sorry

Well done Dondon for getting off the weed. I gave up 19 months ago too. Unfortunately after a few months my ticker started playing up too and you know what that led to.

Anyway, I'm like you and think it was a really good move to give them up.

Well done both of you. I must really have another go at giving up myself.

Peter

I gave up 25yrs ago. Strewth when you see the price they are asking! then ten years ago my brain blew a gasket so I know all about surgery and headaches. Best thing I ever did abandoning the weed I do like the Guinness though so each to his /her own.

What a difference in Ireland no pub smokers. Except the street is littered with dog ends. I keep saying I am going to buy a road sweeper and hire myself out to the council, same as in the UK if you see a road sweeper you grab a pic they are a endangered species!!!
