Today, 27th May, is the sixtieth anniversary of my entry into Victoria Barracks, Southsea, and the start of a fulfilling career in the Royal Navy. Probably the best move I ever made.
I therefore claim membership of that exalted organisation The Granny Club.

Of course PT might be having a day at sea, I'm waiting for his tales of daring do around the Horn

Me Too Victoria Barracks "Gateway to the Fleet" 1955.Not quite the big 60 yet but getting there. I finished up a no badge **** all perhaps 2Bm and Granny will let me be their mess man keeping me off the watch bill and a blue station card?
