  1. Just heard on ITV news, a soldier from the Black Watch has today died from a gunshot wound sustained in Helmand province whilst on routine patrol. Family has been informed

Sad, sad news indeed, thoughts with his family and friends.

    RIP soldier, stand easy
  2. RIP lad
  3. RIP & Stand Easy , thoughts with Family & Friends
  4. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
  5. My condolences the his family and friends.
I had the pleasure of living among the people of Fife. The Black Watch home base for many a happy year.
  6. Always sad to hear such news. My son-in-law is currently "in theatre" with the Black Watch, and I know this news, whilst tragic, will not affect their resolve to uphold the traditions of this fine regiment.
My condolences to the bereaved family.
  7. It's just been released that three others were also killed yesterday in seperate incidents. Stand easy guys. Our thoughts are with all the families and friends of those involved during this terrible time. May we also send our thoughts to all those currently out in theatre doing a fantastic job.
