Forgot to say there were NO medical facts in his report just assumptions
Not sure, I'll have a think about this one.

Did the skipper say (when they were having a wet together) when he'd be rated up after entry?
Especially being a mega phys ninja too.

I dont want to be a pessimist but if your son gets stressed when he is under training what will happen if he comes under fire? There must be something that is triggering these incidents either medically or phsycologically.

Not sure it will help but my son didnt get to pass out having joined the RN but eventually found a new career as an air traffic controller with Nats. Now that is stressful!

Hi that was the first time - this time he was fitter, less weight and ready - he’s also taking up mountain climbing and was a lifeguard so totally different attitude and more mature

all he’s ever wanted to is join the Navy he was 5 when he decided and nothing has changed - he’s 20 now.

at the moment he’s not sure where his path will but he still wants to go back and asked me today when his DR has got all the tests back - which I’m sure will be clear - he wants me to send them back to Raleigh and see if they will reverse the discharge and allow him back - maybe backphased a few weeks. He has been running today and is keeping up a routine and phys

I don't want to appear cynical but I was a Divisional Officer at Raleigh once upon time and had to deal with confused or upset parents on a regular basis and I don't want to make any accusations but are you sure you're getting the whole story?

A common result of chats with parents was what they'd been told wasn't exactly what had happened.

Just wondering - did he apply after A Levels? Which role had he chosen?

Am thinking about how he can navigate the gap if he does have the opportunity to apply again at a later date.

yes I am as the PMO called me
also had a call from his WO who didn’t know he’d been discharged

what we want to know is why they didn’t do the tests they said they would and why sit on his discharge for 48hrs

also is there a chance of reversing this decision

I’ve also been in contact with his COs office too

no we lived abroad and he moved back to UK to start the process in 2018

he was told if he had all paperwork and medical evidence again he could apply again after a suitable time period and incident free

he just feels he did this all before and his life has been on hold for 3 years already
he’s very disheartened about the way he’s been treated and the fact there is no medical evidence to back up the discharge

he is a strong lad and had they done tests and something flaged up he would take it but feels he’s been discharge unnecessarily

I can't see how the WO wouldn't know, he/she would be involved in the discharge paperwork.

What did the PMO say?

he left after the Friday pass out and did t get back till from leave till Wednesday and went to find out from the CPO of crean if y son had gone to another division and I’ve had an email from him saying he was shocked and upset that my son had been discharged and was goi g to find out more

The PMO said what I put earlier and that although the Plymouth doctors said it was caused by the gas mask they were certain - the PMO said she can’t be sure and because of what happened 2 years before they don’t have finances to get tests done and it was out of her hands and a shame cause he’s a excellent recruit
