Our client is a leading provider of engineering, installation and maintenance services to their prestigious worldwide client base. They now have an immediate requirement for a Testing and Development Technician to join their team in Chelmsford, Essex. The successful candidate will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of technicians in the Testing / Development group, providing technical support to develop, test and deliver Universal Jointing (UJ) and allied technology products to time, budget and quality.

Requirements:

• The successful candidate will ideally hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification (i.e. BTEC, NVQ) or hold equivalent experience.
• Ability to use PLC Controls (software).
• Previous working knowledge of hydraulic systems would be advantageous.
